Russia Says Iran WILL be Supplied With Nuclear Warheads!!

A Review of the Dangerous and Futile US Attack on Iran.

Former Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev warned the United States via social media that a number of countries are now prepared to arm Iran with their nuclear warheads following the Saturday bombing of nuclear facilities.

Of course, Medvedev has a penchant for making nuclear war threats that never materialize. Nevertheless, the prospect cannot be dismissed if things continue to get out of hand. Pakistan has nuclear warheads and so does North Korea.

And, surprise, surprise: Iran moved its centrifuges and nuclear material out of Fordow before it was struck. .

Briefing Document: Analysis of US Strikes on Iran (June 22, 2025

On June 22, 2025, the United States, in cooperation with Israel, conducted military strikes against three alleged Iranian nuclear facilities: Isfahan, Natanz, and Fordow. This briefing analyzes the legal, military, and geopolitical implications of these actions, concluding that the strikes were unconstitutional, unlawful, militarily ineffective, and have significantly destabilized the region, potentially pushing the US into a more dangerous conflict while isolating it internationally.

Note: The views expressed herein are not necessarily those of Liberty or Death.

RE: The Legality and Constitutionality of the Strikes:

  • Unconstitutional and Unlawful: Judge Napolitano unequivocally states, "What the president of the United States did was profoundly unconstitutional, absolutely unlawful, was an impeachable offense and was a war crime." He stresses that "only the Congress can declare war, not the president," and only on a country posing an "immediate and grave military threat."

  • Violation of War Powers Resolution: Even under the "unconstitutional statute" of the War Powers Resolution, the President is required to notify Congress and allow them an opportunity to respond. President Trump "not only ignored the Constitution, he ignored that law."

  • War Crime (War of Aggression): Scott Ritter, citing Prosecutor Jackson from the Nuremberg trials, asserts that "a war of aggression is the ultimate war crime because from this war of aggression all other crimes emanate. This is what we did." He characterizes the attack as "an act of perfidy, a surprise attack, an undeclared act of aggression that had no foundation in justification."

  • Violation of International Law (UN Charter): Both Napolitano and Ritter emphasize that the US, as a signatory and architect of the UN Charter, violated international law. Ritter states, "the United Nations Charter an international treaty was ratified by the United States Senate and therefore under our own constitution becomes the law of the land... it prohibits this kind of an attack absolutely against a fellow signatory of the charter without going to the UN first."

RE: The Military Ineffectiveness and Political Motivation:

  • Zero Military Value: The strikes are described as having "zero impact on an Iranian nuclear program" because the targeted sites were "empty" and "long since evacuated." The planning, conducted in cooperation with Israel over a year prior, suggests a pre-planned attack against sites with "no military value."

  • Targeted Facilities and Damage Assessment:Natanz: Struck by one B2 bomber dropping two GBU-57 "massive ordnance penetrator" bombs. However, Natanz had been struck multiple times by Israel previously, and "whatever was in the tons… had long since been evacuated." The strikes "accomplished nothing," merely putting "two additional holes in the ground of a piece of terrain that had no military scientific or meaningful value."

  • Isfahan: Targeted with 30 cruise missiles, but even the US government "is admitting that these missiles didn't accomplish the level of destruction that they were hoping to." The facility was deeper and more protected, requiring a reattack, which President Trump reportedly refused, indicating "this wasn't about achieving anything meaningfully militarily."

  • Fordow: The "crown jewel" target, located "90 meters or 90 feet underground," was struck by six B2 bombers, each carrying two MOPs. The "best that we could accomplish is that we did damage to one entrance and one exit of a facility that has five exits." Crucially, "the facility was evacuated" on June 18th and 19th, with "high value centrifuges" and "the totality of Iran's enriched uranium" moved to unknown locations.

  • "Purely an Act of Political Theater": The military action is consistently framed as a politically motivated stunt rather than a strategic strike. Ritter states, "these attacks were purely an act of political theater for a president who's desperate to be seen as being a decisive leader but all he showed was American impotence."

  • Cost of the Strikes: Estimated to be "a hundred million dollars for just this strike, maybe more," for an operation that "accomplished nothing" and "actually did worse than accomplished nothing, it's pushed America in a bind."

RE: The International Reaction and Geopolitical Isolation of the US:

  • US as a "Rogue Nation": Ritter asserts, "the United States is a rogue nation right now that we are operating outside the framework of international law."

  • Russia-China Alliance for "Law-Based International Order": The discussion highlights the 2022 joint document between Russia and China rejecting the "rules-based international order" (seen as US-centric) in favor of a "law-based international order" premised on the UN Charter.

  • Global Isolation of the US: Nations like Russia, China, India, and Pakistan are expected to "be working to ensure that America's gross act of irresponsibility and illegality doesn't destroy this framework of international law." The expectation is that Russia and China will "move to isolate the United States at the Security Council at the United Nations."

  • International Community Working to Contain: The international community is expected to focus on preventing escalation and "isolate the United States and keep the United States from re-engaging militarily."

RE: The Iranian Response and Strategy:

  • Lawful Retaliation Against Israel: Iran's strikes against Israel are deemed legitimate under international law as "Israel initiated this by carrying out an unlawful, illegal, surprise attack with no justification." Iran's actions "continue until which time Israel stops striking Iran... it is literally the more Israel bombs Iran the more legitimate Iran's retaliation becomes."

  • Accuracy and Military Targeting: Iranian missiles are described as having "a high degree of accuracy" and "exclusively military in nature or related to legitimate national security targetable sites," according to a former Israeli intelligence official.

  • Devastating Impact on Israel: Iran is inflicting "horrific damage to the Israelis," with strikes that are "very accurate" and "inflicting a tremendous amount of damage on Israel and Israel is a small nation unable to absorb this damage."

  • Iron Dome's Failure: The Israeli Iron Dome missile defense system is deemed "defenseless now" against a modern missile threat. Ritter states, "the Iron Dome doesn't work... it's a sham, it's a joke, it's a scam and and it's played out daily by the Iranians firing missiles specifically designed to defeat the missile shield that Israel and the United States have erected."

  • Calculated and Responsible Behavior: Iran is predicted to "continue to operate within the framework of international law," focusing on isolating the US and highlighting Israel's "criminal actions." Their long-term strategy is to "break the back of Israel."

  • No Precipitous Action Against US Bases: Despite the attacks, Iran is expected to "not striking out against American bases" because "the American forces deployed in Saudi Arabia did not participate in this attack and Saudi Arabia has condemned this."

  • Strategic Autonomy from Russia: Iran consciously avoided a full military alliance with Russia to maintain "freedom of action to continue this operation without any treaty linked obligation to... respect Russian diplomacy."

RE: The Dangerous Precedent and Future Risks:

  • Risk to American Service Members: The strikes have "put at risk tens of thousands of Americans" deployed throughout the region from potential Iranian retaliation, as demonstrated by the Al-Assad air base attack.

  • Escalation Risk: The failure of the strikes to achieve their stated objectives creates a dangerous dilemma for the US President, potentially leading to further strikes or even the consideration of "nuclear weapons" given the perceived failure of conventional means.

  • Damage to Non-Proliferation Regime: The attack on Iran's nuclear sites by a nuclear power is seen as "a massive backlash in terms of the damage the United States has done to the nuclear non-proliferation regime." The IAEA is expected to condemn the US action.

  • Potential for Israeli Nuclear Program Scrutiny: One potential outcome is that Israel might be "compelled to turn its program over to international inspections" if its "back is broken" due to the conflict and increased international focus on nuclear norms.
